Pamela Diane Newton, 66, of Campbellsville, KY passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026 entering her next life surrounded by loved ones. She was born on December 22, 1959 to the late Glen Allen Newton and Alma Lucille (Wise) Newton.
She was also preceded in death by two sons: Ernest Tyler Akins and Jonathan Glen Harmon.
She was a loud and proud follower of Christ. Pam spent most of her adult life as a waitress, the last 25 years at Creekside Restaurant, pulling her oxygen along to her tables until the very end. She was 58 inches of spirit and strength. She loved to give and to gather. Her favorite pastimes were finding ways to ‘pay it forward’ and hosting family parties. Her favorite roles were always that of ‘Aunt Pam,’ ‘Nanny,’ and, most importantly, ‘Mama.’

1 daughter: Sarah Harmon, of Lexington, KY
2 grandchildren: Zachary Robertson and Jasmin Robertson, both of Campbellsville
Special granddog: Odie
2 brothers: Allen (Janice) Newton and Donnie (Alisha) Newton, both of Campbellsville
