Nancy Louise Dewitt, 78, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter on the late Elzie and Kathleen (Ramsey) Followell, was born in Lebanon on December 18, 1947. She departed this life on Friday, May 22, 2026 at her home.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a devout member of Mt. Washington Baptist Church. She retired from Walmart, where she had spent the majority of her career helping meet the needs of her customers.

Her husband of 45 years: Nathan Dewitt

2 children: David Williams and Tracy Pettit

5 sisters & 2 brothers: Juanite Followell, Mary Allen, Glenda Shoopman, Eunice Miller, Rachell Long, Foster Followell, and Robert Followell

2 grandchildren: Casey Marlow & wife Brook, and Courtney Brookman & husband Craig

2 great-grandchildren: Corbin and Carson Brookman

She was also preceded in death by a son, Kevin Williams; and four siblings: Dorothy Cox, Margie Richards, Edna Shreve, and James Followell.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 1:00pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Jimmy York officiating

INTERMENT: Mt. Washington Cemetery

VISITATION: Tuesday after 10:00amET at the funeral home
