Harold Lynn Morris, 79, of the Summersville community of Green County, KY, a son of the late Sylvester Lynn and Myrtle Marie (Wooley) Morris, was born October 13, 1946 in Louisville and departed this life on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at his home. 

He was of the Baptist faith, a carpenter and known to many as ‘"The Watermelon Man”. Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to music, watching wrestling, gardening and aggravating Mom.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters: Judy, Margaret, Dorothy and Eva; a grandchild: Ember Breedlove; a sister-in-law, Mary Lee Elsner; and four brothers-in-law: Art Miller, Freddy Jones, Andy Jones and James Carter.

His wife: Jeanne (Hager) Morris of Summersville

4 children: Willie Morris & wife Amy of Lawrenceburg, Bill Breedlove & wife Judy of Crestwood, Ronnie Breedlove of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Lynn Morris & companion Julie England of Summersville

2 sisters: Carol Stephens and Woody Green, both of Florida

Sister-in-law: Anna Marie Miller of Clarksville, Indiana

12 grandchildren: Timmy Morris (Ashton), Tyler Morris (Adrianna Young), Rayanna Breedlove (Andrew Oliver), Logan and Kaylee Breedlove, Patrick Capehart (Blake), Matthew Capehart (Katie Bulgerin), Gavin, Aubrey and Madison Morris, Logan England and fiancé Haleigh Wright, and Addysen England
