Rufus Sullivan, 90, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Tender Touch Senior Living in Elizabethtown, KY. He was born on March 22, 1937 in Harlan County, KY to the late Jonas and Malinda Caldwell Sullivan.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Tru Way Ministries.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Arlene Sullivan, in 2023.

2 grandchildren: Kim Sullivan and Christopher Sullivan

2 great-grandchildren: Tyler Sullivan and Kaitlyn Sullivan

3 great-great grandchildren: Kane Sullivan, Oakley Sullivan and Mason Sullivan

2 sisters: Gertrude and Merley

A host of other relatives & friends

He was preceded in death by one son, David Mitchell Sullivan.

There will be no public services.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg.
