Mary Ann Turpin, 60, of Liberty, KY (Clementsville community), daughter of the late Avery and Geraldine (Wethington) Hicks, was born December 26, 1965 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 in Campbellsville at Taylor Regional Hospital. 

Mary Ann enjoyed quilting and gardening. She loved animals and flowers, and was of the Catholic faith.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Avery Hicks, Jr.

Her husband: John Turpin of Liberty

2 children: Stacy Barnett of Campbellsville and Chris Cochran of Casey County

2 sisters: Susan Ledford & husband Tony of Liberty and Sandy Acker of Michigan

2 grandchildren: Colton Bright and Austin Barnett

To honor the request of Mary Ann, cremation rites were entrusted to L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY and no service is scheduled.
