Jerry Wayne Williamson, 71, of Bowling Green, KY (formerly of Green County), departed this life on Monday, April 27, 2026. He was a son of the late Mildred Elouise Smith Williamson and Robert James Williamson.

Jerry was fortunate enough to find love not once, but twice, the second time with a very special woman, Donna Hazle. He was very involved in his children’s activities as they were growing up, including serving as the first band booster president of the Greenwood High Marching Gators. Jerry took interest in hobbies like shooting guns, building and fixing things, and especially spending time with his grandkids. He had a knack for making friends easily and was well liked among all those he met. Jerry will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

2 daughters: Bethany Anne (Leon) Henderson and Aleisha Leigh (Cliff) Coomer

5 grandchildren: Atley (Kalin) Henderson, Ellen Henderson, Mason Henderson, Paxton Coomer, and Zander Coomer

His mother-in-law: Maxideen Pruitt of Greensburg

Sister-in-law: Janie Buress of Greensburg

Several nephews 

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Anne Pruitt Williamson and two brothers: William Judson (Sherra) Hardy and Glenn Lee (Karen) Williamson.
