OBITS

Audrey Mae Robison, 72, Campbellsville, KY

Audrey Mae Robison, 72, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Chester Herron and the late Hettie Cox Herron Miller and Conda Miller was born August 15, 1953 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. She died at 7:26 A.M., Saturday May 2, 2026 in Lexington.

Audrey professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and Taylor County Detention Center. Working at the detention center was probably the most impactful thing she ever did by giving her purpose and cementing her faith through helping others become better versions of themselves.

She united in marriage to the love of her life, Richard (Ricky) Robison. He preceded her in death June 9, 2016 taking a part of her soul with him.

Audrey is survived by one son, Roger Blankenship and two grandsons: Isaac Blankenship and Brody Blankenship, whom she loved unconditionally; three brothers, Arvin (Bubby) Herron, Lester Herron, and Van Herron. She has nine nieces and nephews, two of whom, Delitha Shreve and Robert Kearney, were more akin to siblings than niece and nephew.

Audrey will be remembered as a fierce woman. Sometimes that fierceness flared in the form of the infamous “Herron Temper” and other times radiated a love that was immensely deep and boundless.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Beulah Thomas, and Francis Graybeal.
