Henry Lee Colvin, Jr., 76, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Henry Lee Colvin, Sr., and Bessie McFarland Colvin, was born on September 20, 1949 in Boyle County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, April 30, 2026 in Louisville.

Mr. Colvin professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed music, tractors, horses, raising cattle, watching RFD TV, and was a strong Republican. He was a veteran having served his country in the United States Army National Guard.

1 son: George Colvin

6 grandchildren: Brandon Colvin (Lauren), Amanda Colvin, Stormy Hall (Derick), Paisley Powell, Austin Colvin (Katelyn), and Haley Beard (Josh)

13 great-grandchildren & 2 expected great-grandchildren

His companion: Gayle Luttrell

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Johnnie Lee Colvin.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 1:00pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Orr officiating

Burial: Colvin Memorial Cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard

Visitation: Wednesday from 11:00am-1:00pmET at the funeral home
