Kathy Wells, 78, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Garnett Rice and Virginia Durrett Rice, was born September 5, 1947 in Marion County, KY. She died at 1:32pmET on Thursday, April 23, 2026 in Campbellsville.
Kathy had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Bethel First Presbyterian Church. She was a retired schoolteacher at Taylor County Elementary School. Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and dedicated her life to her family. She loved to winter in Florida and enjoyed playing cards with her friends.

6 grandchildren: Ashton Brock & husband Nate, Trinity Wells & fiancé Hank McArthur, Nick Hyde, Jack Hughes, Lauren Buscher & husband Chad, and Alex Hughes & wife Abigale
2 great-grandchildren: Alton Brock and Oliver Hughes
1 brother: Randy Rice & wife Margaret of Baton Rouge, Louisiana
2 sisters-in-law: Joy Tarter & husband Donald of Dunnville and Joberta Wells of Yosemite
