Genia Whitlow Shearer, 67, of Elizabethtown, KY, formerly of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Herbert Delano Whitlow and Francis Virginia Loyall Whitlow, was born on October 29, 1958 and departed this life on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Baptist Health Hardin.

5 grandchildren: Micah Curry of Irvine, Savanna Taylor of Campbellsville, Brooklyn Taylor of Bowling Green, Quentin Curry and Cooper Curry both of Hopkinsville

3 sisters & brothers-in-law: Glenda Wells & Mark of Alabama, Reba & Wayne Harris of Illinois, and Carola Whitlow of California

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Ryan Curry on September 9, 2024.
