Greg McKinney, 61, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late William “Bill” Lile McKinney and Carol Lee Nance McKinney, was born August 15, 1964 in Jefferson County, KY. He died at 6:24pmET on Monday, April 6, 2026 in Lexington. 

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Upper Room Church.

Greg served his country honorably and retired from the United States Army and was a member of the Elk Horn Masonic Lodge #568.

He was a retired employee of Comcast. Greg was a jokester who loved life and spending time with his grandbabies. His son, Dalton, said “that his dad was an American hero, his hero and the best dad he could ever ask for. His daughter-in-law, Samantha, said he was the best father-in-law in the world.

5 grandchildren: Blake Landes, Aleigha Nalley, Abrina Nalley, Gibson McKinney, and Roxy McKinney

2 sisters: Ann York & husband Bubby and Kimberly Pendleton & husband Joe, both of Campbellsville
