Troy Rex Houk, 56, of Greensburg, KY, son of Rex Wilson Houk and Carol Yvonne Matney Houk both of Greensburg, was born on January 27, 1970 in Green County and departed this life on Thursday, April 2, 2026. 

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church. His favorite title was Papaw, and there was no greater joy than spending time with his grandson, Ryder. He was a talented artist and loved listening to music and singing.

He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Troy Durrett; and a niece and nephew: Charity and Christian.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Greasy Creek Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
