Betty Marie Blackford Lowe, 85, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Aubrey Brown Blackford and Rosa Lee Harlow Blackford, was born on June 10, 1940 in Logan County, KY and departed this life on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Grandview Nursing Home. 

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder. Betty enjoyed being with her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Betty was united in marriage to Edmond E. Lowe on March 15, 1960 and he preceded her in death on December 25, 1994.

1 daughter & son-in-law: Debbie Gumm & Jeff of Campbellsville

1 son & daughter-in-law: Don Lowe & Robin of Greensburg

4 grandsons: Jeffrey Gumm and Elizabeth of Bowling Green, Josh Gumm and Maddie of Campbellsville, Christopher Lowe and Ashley of Greensburg, Austin Lowe of Louisville

7 great-grandchildren: Emery Gumm, Emmett Gumm, Eleanor Gumm, Audrey Gumm, Amelia Gumm, Knox Lowe, and Briggs Lowe

1 sister: Mae Walters of Bonnieville

Several nieces, nephews, & many dear friends

Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Aubrey Blackford Jr. of Texas; one sister, Shirley Parson of Munfordville, KY; and two half-sisters: Mabel Brown and Christine Allen.

Burial: Ebenezer Cemetery

Visitation: After 9:00amCT on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the church 

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church or Gideon Bibles which can be made at the church or funeral home.
