Curtis “Buddy” Garrett, 79, of Elkhorn, KY, the son of the late Johnny Garrett, Jr. and Emma Tungate Garrett, was born September, 9, 1946 in Marion County, KY and departed this life on Sunday, March 1, 2026 in Campbellsville.

He was of the Baptist Faith and was a dairy and tobacco farmer for over 60 years. He enjoyed flatfoot dancing, trap shoots, loafing at the store, and most of all he loved his family.

3 children: Nancy Lee Tungate & companion Doug Warren of Campbellsville, Curtis Garrett & wife Lisa of Merrimac, and Amanda Tucker & husband Justin of Knifley

8 grandchildren: Hope Garrett, Cody Garrett (Renee Corbin), Brittany Tungate (Chris Compton), Kelsey Garrett (Austin Harris), Bridget Tungate, Johnny Murphy, Garrett Tucker, and Emily Garrett

4 great-grandchildren

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Addison Bray.

Burial: Old Liberty Cemetery

Visitation: Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 5:00pm-8:00pmET at the funeral home
