Barbara Dicken, 78, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late David Alex Shively and Lela Brockman Shively, was born January 14, 1948 in Marion County, KY. She died at 5:15 A.M. on Sunday, March 1, 2026 in Campbellsville.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of God’s Friendship Chapel.

Barbara united in marriage to Garry Dicken on December 6, 1968 and he preceded her in death on December 18, 2012.

She was a hard worker and was a retired childcare employee with Happy Homes Daycare and Campbellsville Baptist Church Child Development Center. Barbara loved all her grandkids and great-grandbabies.

1 daughter: Pam Dicken of Campbellsville

Son-in-law: David White of Campbellsville

4 grandchildren: Mylea Wicker & husband Jackie Wicker of Campbellsville, Tanner White & significant other Madison Johnson of Lebanon, Lydia Dicken, and Chase Burton & significant other Cheyanna Atwood of Campbellsville

6 great-grandchildren: Wyatt Wicker, Whitney Wicker, Wesley Wicker, Kayden Burton, Kynslee Burton and Kolten Burton

Barbara was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy White on May 29, 2014.
