Boyce Dobson, 83, of Summersville, KY, son of the late Melvin Dobson and Lera Vaughn Dobson, was born on April 6, 1942 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Nortons Hospital in Louisville. 

Mr. Dobson had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Allendale Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for many years. He previously worked as a welder for Henry Vogt Machine Company and was a farmer. Boyce was a member of the William B. Allen Masonic Lodge #704 F&AM.

He was united in marriage to Juanita C. Berry Dobson on April 29, 1961, who preceded him in death on March 24, 2025.

Burial: Whitlow Cemetery

Visitation: Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT and Sunday after 7:00amCT at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home

Masonic Service: Saturday at 6:00pmCT by the William B. Allen Masonic Lodge. All master masons will meet at the funeral home at 5:30pmCT on Saturday.
