Nonie Beatrice Estes Burris, 79, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late John William Estes and Birdie Bagby Estes, was born on April 3, 1946 in Greensburg and departed this life on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital.

Nonie had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Living Word Faith Center. She was a homemaker and was the proud dog mom to “JoJo”. When she was able, she loved to dance while listening to her favorite music. She enjoyed going shopping and out to eat, especially at Creek Side Restaurant.

Nonie united in marriage to Leon Burris on June 12, 2019, and he preceded her in death on October 22, 2019.

Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sisters: Elizabeth Boston and Margaret Underwood; and three brothers: John T. Simpson, Cecil Simpson, and Bill Simpson.
