Jerry Olin Wood, 77, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Olyn and Opal (Cox) Wood, was born November 15, 1948 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Monday, February 16, 2026 in Campbellsville at Taylor Regional Hospital. 

He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and Tarter Gate Company. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, wood crafting, archery, and spending time with his dogs, Kiki and Molly, and his cat Jazzy, but most of all, being a loving husband and best friend to his wife Dianne, whom he married on August 10, 1968.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Byron Wood, a sister, Doris (Joy) Patton, and a nephew, Ricky Patton.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at L.R. Petty Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Penick officiating

INTERMENT: Brookside Cemetery

VISITATION: After 11:00 A.M. on Thursday
