Donnie Ford, 86, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Leonard Coakley Ford and Flora Alice Lewis Ford, was born November 22, 1939 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Saturday, February 7, 2026 in Campbellsville. 

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Temple and was retired from Fruit of the Loom. He loved to go to Bradfordsville and eat fish on Friday nights and tend to his gardens. He took great pride in growing the best tomatoes! After 25 years at FOL Bleach House, where he would sometimes work months on end without a day off, he retired and started a mowing business. Many of his clients said they had their own gardener because he was so meticulous with everything. He would always go above and beyond and take great pride in any job he did.

He loved his kids and grandkids so much and would always make sure he had their favorite snacks at his house! He was a quiet man who worked hard and never complained! He didn’t want much for himself, but wanted to give everything to those he loved!

His wife: Juanita Rafferty Ford of Campbellsville

2 daughters: Donna Jean White & husband Chuck of Campbellsville, and Lisa Hornback Ford of Elizabethtown

5 grandchildren: Brandon Shawn White (Amanda), Jenna Nichole Wethington (Shannon), Mollie Williams Tucker (Logan), Callie Brooke Hornback, and Chloe Brianne Hornback

6 great-grandchildren

1 sister: Marjorie Deanie Price of Mt. Washington

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings: Raymond Ford, Mardell Benningfield, Rosemary Mardis, and Leonard “Starchy” Ford.

INTERMENT: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens

VISITATION: Monday, February 9, 2026 from 5:00pm-8:00pmET at the funeral home
