Jeffrey D. Matney, 62, of Greensburg, KY, son of Rosie Mae Gibson Matney of Greensburg and the late Garland Lee Matney, was born on January 20, 1964 in Glasgow, KY and departed this life on Friday, February 6, 2026 at his home. 

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Maple Hill Methodist Church. Jeffrey previously worked as an associate for Greensburg Manufacturing. In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting and fishing.

2 daughters: Casey Lynn Matney & her significant other Jerry Pippin of Greensburg and Cherita Matney & her fiancé Tyler Merritt of Columbia 

1 son: Blake Matney of Columbia 

Son-in-law: Owsley Vaughn of Greensburg 

His Mother: Rosie Gibson Matney of Greensburg 

7 grandchildren: Khyron Matney, Keylee Matney, Karson Wright, and Kaydian Wright all of Columbia; Hunter Pippin, Jerrod Pippin, and Kaitlyn Pippin all of Greensburg

Sister-in-law: Lisa Matney of Greensburg

Besides his father, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Miranda Matney Vaughn; two brothers: Gary Matney and Larry Matney; and two sisters: Rhonda Milby and Sandra Adkins.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 2:00pmCT at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY with Bro. Robert Adkins and Bro. Cliffton Sullivan officiating

Burial: Mapel Hill Cemetery

Visitation: After 10:00amCT on Tuesday at the funeral home
