Harlin Ray Skaggs, 90, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Alvin B. Skaggs and Jennie Nelson Skaggs, was born January 31, 1936 and departed this life on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville, KY.

Harlin was a former employee of the State Highway Dept. in Elizabethtown. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Otter Creek Separate Baptist Church. He enjoyed motorcycles and CB radios.

He united in marriage to Betty Atwell Skaggs, and she preceded him in death on December 10, 2025.

Nieces & nephews: Perry Skaggs & wife Tracy, Gina Skaggs Cecil & husband Mike, Harold Atwell, Danny Atwell, Josephine Caulk, JoAnn Sprowles, Larry Skaggs, Linda Walters, and Jimmy Skaggs

Besides his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by two brothers: Willard Skaggs and Harold Skaggs.

Interment: Otter Creek Cemetery
