Julie Kay Bruce, 66, of Campbellsville, KY, a daughter of the late Dallas Newton and Doris Jean Benningfield Newton, was born August 27, 1959 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 7:57 A.M., Sunday, February 1, 2026 in Campbellsville. 

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Saloma Baptist Church. Julie was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and also worked as a pharmacy technician and certified cosmetologist. She also worked as a waitress as Orville’s Family Restaurant.

Julie never met a stranger. She could carry on conversations for hours with anyone who would listen. She loved life and her family, especially her grandchildren.

1 son & 1 daughter: Kalen Bruce & wife Stephanie and Kellie Vaughn & husband Daron of Campbellsville

2 grandchildren: Kallie Grace Vaughn and Gage Bruce

2 brothers & 1 sister: Mike Newton & wife Linda, Johnny Newton & wife Vickie, and Rhonda Watson & husband Carl all of Campbellsville
