Russell Brown Larimore, 86, of Lexington, KY, son of the late Virgil Thomas Larimore and Mary Eliza Rhea Larimore, was born on August 11, 1939 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the Masonic Homes of Louisville. 

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and worked for Verizon as a Network Architect. He was a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM. Russell was a veteran, having served our country honorably in the United States Army Reserve.

SURVIVORS:

2 sons: David Rhea Larimore of Lexington and John Thomas Larimore of Bloomington, Indiana

3 grandchildren: Ava Marie Larimore, Madelyn Maree Larimore, and Emma Grace Larimore

Funeral Service: Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 11:00amCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with Bro. Ashley Shuffett officiating

Burial: Liberty Cemetery
 

Visitation: After 9:30amCT on Saturday at the funeral home 

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Liberty Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
