David James Dengel, 67, of Green County, KY, the son of Judith Erfert and the late James Dengel, was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 5, 1958 and departed this life peacefully at his home in Green County on Thursday, January 15, 2026.
David loved the Lord and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. He loved his family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, loved muscles cars, drag racing and the Green Bay Packers. David retired from Heat & Frost Insulator in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and loved working in the Mechanic – Body Shop restoring muscle cars.

2 brothers: James Dengel of Missouri and Daniel Dengel of Georgia
1 sister: Lynette Mews of Wisconsin
12 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren

Burial: Bethlehem Cemetery in Green County
Visitation: After 11:00amCT on Monday at the funeral home
Pallbearers: Jason Dengel, Christopher Dengel, Billy Dengel, Paul Dengel, James Dengel, Daniel Dengel
The family has requested expressions of sympathy be made to the Riverside Baptist Church Building Fund. These can be made at the funeral home.
