Jimmie Benningfield, 72, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Broadus Benningfield and Martha Forrest Benningfield, was born February 16, 1953 in Taylor County, KY. He died at 8:40 A.M., Friday, January 2, 2026 in Campbellsville.  

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Jimmie was a farmer and enjoyed working on his farm. He loved spending time with his family and neighbors.

1 son & 1 daughter: Benjamin Benningfield & wife Brooke of Campbellsville and Jennie Conner & husband Tony of Versailles

4 grandchildren: Ellyson Conner, Isabella Benningfield, Luke Benningfield and Ty Conner

2 brothers & 2 sisters: Billie Benningfield, Clyde Benningfield & wife Bonnie, and Bettie Bright of Campbellsville; Mattie Burton of Bardstown

Jimmie was also preceded in death a daughter, Judy Ann Benningfield, on June 14, 2000.
