Rita Ann Braun Corbin, 77, of Greensburg, KY, a daughter of the late Bernard Joseph Braun and Mary Lee Witkam Braun, was born on September 20, 1948 in Jeffersonville, Indiana and departed this life on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at her home. 

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church. She worked as a dental assistant for the University of Kentucky Pediatrics Dentistry.

SURVIVORS:

Her husband of 10 years: David Ray Corbin of Greensburg

2 daughters & sons-in-law: Allison Marie Pinkston (& husband James) Bradley and Leslie Ann Stratton (& husband Shannon), both of Lawrenceburg

5 step-children: David Paul Corbin (& wife Jessica) of Fort Knox, Josh (& wife Dawn) Corbin of Greensburg, and Kimberly Corbin of Glasgow, Dortia Miller of Georgia and Dale Ellis of Nebraska

3 grandchildren: Mallory Pinkston, Sydney Pinkston, and Adam Stratton

5 step-grandchildren: Macy York, Drew Corbin, Jamie Miller, Katie Miller, and Danielle Cummins

2 brothers: Joe (& wife Sher) Braun and Mark (& wife Connie) Braun, both of Indiana;

2 sisters & a brother-in-law: Linda (& husband Wayne) Hedrick and Peggy Braun Gootee, both of Indiana

A  host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends

Honoring her wishes, cremation was chosen. There will be no formal services at this time.

Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hosparus of Green River which can be made at the funeral home.
