Florence Marie Jeffries, 87, was born September 24, 1938 in Green County, KY to the late John Walter and Annie Marie Walker Judd. She departed this life on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Florence retired after working at different factories and for the Board of Education. She enjoyed listening to Elvis and Dolly Parton, reading her Harlequin books, sewing, and playing bingo.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son and two daughters: Ricky Neal Jeffries, Julia Ann Shuffett and Debbie Lynn Jeffries; one grandson, Michael Ray Shuffett; four brothers: Bill, Garland, Cecil and Jessie Judd; and three sisters: Edna Pennington, Louise Whitlow, and Laverne Hamlett.
