Melody Rose Lemen Fales, 67, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of Morris Lemen, Sr. and the late Virginia Allard, was born on April 10, 1958 in Sitka, Alaska. She departed this life on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. Melody enjoyed cross-stitching, cooking, baking and spending time with her church family. She loved her two pups, Koda and Little Bear.

Her husband of 26 years: Doug Fales of Greensburg

2 sons: Shawn Burns of Seattle, Washington and Leslie Lyle of New Castle, Wyoming

1 step-son: Robert Cassill (Angela) of LaCross, Wisconsin

6 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren

Her twin brother: Morris Lemen, Jr. (Roseanna); siblings: Curtis Lemen (Colleen), Babette Lemen, and Colleen Abad (Reuben)

The family would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to the emergency room staff at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital for their dedication and support. Also, to their church family at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church for the many prayers and love shown during this difficult time.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
