Patricia “Pat” Lynn Kearnes Phillips, 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2025 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on November 3, 1943 in Campbellsville, KY to the late Wade and Mary Belle Roberts Kearnes.
A lifelong resident of Campbellsville, Pat grew up in the Methodist church and later became a devoted member of Campbellsville Baptist Church after marrying her husband of more than 50 years, the late Randall Phillips.
Pat worked throughout her adult life, beginning at Chappell’s Dairy and later at several local banks before retiring from the Taylor County Clerk’s Office. She approached every job with humility, kindness, and a gentle leadership style that left lasting impressions on coworkers who became dear friends. She was active in the Republican Women’s Club and spent several years as a dedicated Girl Scout leader, pouring her heart into every troop meeting, badge, and campout. She enjoyed serving in her church, especially through cooking for events and Vacation Bible School.
