Rodger Covey, 70 of Campbellsville, KY, a son of the late Nehemiah and Phyllis (Camisa) Covey, was born in Middletown, Ohio on July 3, 1955. He departed this life on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a retired construction worker, mechanic, and over-the-road truck driver. Rodger was a talented woodworker, enjoyed time spent outdoors, and cherished the time spent hunting and fishing with his family and friends.

His devoted wife: Linda (Jones) Covey

4 children: Tammy Fisher & husband Michael of Franklin, Ramona Burris, Doug Harris & wife Kim, and Chad Harris & wife Sheena all of Campbellsville

2 brothers: Albert Covey & wife Joyce of Hayden, Idaho and Ruben Covey of Campbellsville

14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great grandchild

A host of other relatives & friends

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by three siblings: Carolyn Covey, Richard Covey, and David Covey.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 1:00pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY

INTERMENT: Elliott Cemetery

VISITATION: After 11:00amET on Wednesday until time for the service
