Robert Edward Petty, 68, of Liberty, KY, the son of the late Robert Vernon Petty and Mary Ruth (Shoemaker) Gee, was born June 4, 1957 in California and departed this life on Friday, November 22, 2025 in Liberty at the Casey County Hospital.

He enjoyed woodworking, video games, eating sweets, but most of all, spending time with his grandchildren and was of the Christian faith.

SURVIVORS:

4 children: Bryan Petty & wife Ludy of Liberty, Anna Petty of Campbellsville, Alicia Fuston & husband Kris, and Jason Petty & wife Angela of Louisville

12 grandchildren: Joshua, Haley, Zoe, Kristofer, Hunter, Layla, Kenna, Jayla, Kira, Kennon, Esalie and Woodland

2 great-grandchildren

To honor the wishes of Mr. Petty, cremation rites were entrusted to L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville and no services are scheduled at this time.
