Robert Douglas Penick, 76, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Charlie and Geneva (Milby) Penick, was born December 21, 1948 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 in Louisville at the Norton Hospice Inpatient Care Center. 

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Sand Lick Separate Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and was a retired employee of Nutrien Ag. Robert enjoyed bird hunting, farming, going to church, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Phyllis Penick.

His children: Robbie Penick & wife Bonnie of Greensburg and Allison Baker & husband Dale of Berea

3 brothers & 2 sisters: Larry Penick and Dennis Penick & wife Brenda of Greensburg, Rex Penick & wife Terri of Maryland, Selena Marcum and Ramona Penick of Campbellsville

10 grandchildren: Luke and Brooke Penick, Leah and Matthew Garrett, Sarah and Jonathan Hunt, Abigail and Dawson Fields, Whitney Clark, Grace Goodin and her husband Nahom, Paxton and Morgan Goodin, Mason and Kali Goodin, Matthew Baker and Coty, and Sarah Baker
