J.W. “Dub” Wright, 79, of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Henry Lee Wright and Verniece Posey Wright, was born on Monday, October 1, 1946 in Green County and departed this life on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the Grandview Nursing & Rehab Facility. 

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ladies Chapel Methodist Church. He worked in demolition for Hayden Brothers Construction and numerous other companies across the United States. In his pastime, he loved to fish.

1 brother: Larry Lynn Wright of Franklin, KY 

3 grandchildren: Makayla Darley of Campbellsville, Noah Wright and McKenna Wright of Greensburg

Funeral Service: Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 1:00pmCT at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY

Burial: Ladies Chapel Cemetery

Visitation: After 9:30amCT on Tuesday at the funeral home
