Lloyd Warren Rice, 81, of Campbellsville, KY passed away peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2025 at the Veterans Hospital in Louisville. He was a son of the late Harry and Alberta Rice.

Lloyd was a devoted member of Bethel AME Church. He honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army, completing 13 years of service and proudly serving as a Vietnam War veteran. In his leisure time, he enjoyed watching wrestling and cheering on Louisville basketball. He was dearly loved by many and will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers: Leon, Bobby, Junior, and Billy Rice; and three sisters: Geneva Dixon Stewart, Hattie Rice, and Dorothy Jean Buckner.

1 brother: Charles Rice

2 sisters: Mayme Faulkner and Edna Faye Robinson

Funeral Service: Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 1:00pmET at Bethel AME Church with Dr. Michael Rice officiating

Burial: Lebanon National Cemetery with full military honors

Visitation: Beginning at 10:00amET on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at the church
