Cathy Deloris Wethington Tapscott, 73, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Edgar and Imelda Wethington, was born on March 3, 1952 in Clementsville, KY. She departed this life on Sunday, October 27, 2025 at her home.

She was of the Catholic faith and formerly worked at Campbellsville Apparel. Cathy enjoyed flowers, watching golf and the game show network. She was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcat fan.

Her companion of over 35 years: Billy Gumm of Greensburg

2 sons & a daughter-in-law: Chris & Candise Tapscott of Liberty, and James Gregory Tapscott of Campbellsville

2 step-children: Natosha & Travis Keith of Greensburg and Brandon & Courtney Gumm of Campbellsville

8 grandchildren: Bodie Tapscott, Mila Tapscott, Kaylee Tapscott, Ashton Gifford, Kristijna & Derek Sines, Cheyenne Ketih, Blake Gumm, and Corey Gumm

2 great-grandchildren: Ethan Brown and Selena Sines

1 sister & brother-in-law: Louise & John Bricken of Louisville

She was preceded in death by siblings: Anna Catherine Wethington, Vera Ann Campbell, Frances Waymon Pelston, Pat Wethington, Lawrence “Runt” Wethington and Malcom Wethington.

Funeral Service: Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 10:00amCT at Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg with Bro. Earl West officiating

Burial: St. Bernard’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Clementsville
 

Visitation: Wednesday from 5:00pm-8:00pmCT and Thursday after 7:00amCT
