Carolyn Patricia Shofner, 79, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Delmer and Myrtle (Goode) Bright, was born June 29, 1946, in Marion County, KY, and departed this life on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the Taylor Regional Hospital. 

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith. Carolyn was a former Walmart Associate, having retired after 38 years. She enjoyed fishing at Green River Lake, watching crime shows on TV, and spending time with her dogs, Bogey and Snickers.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Coleman Shofner; a daughter, Donna Lisa Shofner; three brothers and two sisters: Wilbur, Roger, and Tony Bright, Rosaline Cooley, and Lucille Daniels.

1 daughter: Ashley Shofner of Campbellsville
