James  “Snowman” Atwood, 63, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late James Edward Atwood, Sr., and Bertha Marie (Cox) Sluder, was born September 21, 1962 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Taylor Regional Hospital. 

He was a mechanic and of the Baptist Faith.

His wife of 30 years: Stephanie (Rogers) Atwood.

His children: Colby Atwood & companion Laurel Gillmer, Jamie Atwood, Brandon Cox, Jared Cox & companion Lora Jessie, Harley Cox, and Caleb Buckman & wife Sarah

4 brothers & 1 sister: Joy Mae Helm, Jerry Atwood, Roger Atwood, Theresa Gail Atwood, and Waylon Atwood & companion Rochelle

21 grandchildren: Keyton, Kynlee, Emily, Alex, Justice, Colby, Braydn, Braylynn, Josie, Josslynn, Kylee, Laina, Bentley, Aubrey, Katon, Brayson, Kingston, Stella Mae, John, Mary Clair, and Aquistia

His mother-in-law & father-in-law: Robert & Nancy Rogers

Besides his father and mother, he was preceded in death by a grandchild, Kingston.

INTERMENT: Jones Chapel Cemetery
