Jimmy Keith Burress, Sr, 75, of the Speck Ridge Community of Taylor County, KY, the son of the late Harold “Bo” and Ruth Edna (Farmer) Burress, was born December 31, 1949 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at his residence.

He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and of the Christian Faith. Jimmy enjoyed watching TV, cooking, and sitting on the porch watching and listening to nature.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, LaTisha Lee Burress Brown; a brother, Danny Burress; and a sister, Shelia Burress.

His wife of 48 years: Connie (Callahan) Burress

2 grandsons: Michael and Hunter Brown

3 sisters & 2 brothers: Bernice & Tommy Woods, Betty & Byron Eastridge, Johnny & Sharon Burress, David Paul Burress, and Bonnie Harper

FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 11:00amET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Ritchie Carroll & Rob Campbell officiating

INTERMENT: Callahan Cemetery – Elk Horn
