Linda Leigh Peckinpaugh Neat, 77, of the Elkhorn community of Taylor County, KY, a daughter of the late Carl Peckinpaugh and Helen Walker, was born on April 21, 1948 in Louisville, KY. She departed this life on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at her home.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Elkhorn Baptist Church. Mrs. Neat had worked as a home health aide.

Her husband of almost 31 years: Wilbert Neat of Elkhorn

2 daughters & a son-in-law: Carol & Sean Edward, and Sherry Gibson

1 son: Rick Miles

3 step-daughters & sons-in-law: Janet Altman, Carol & Charles Luckett, and Connie & Aaron Walters

1 step-son: Jimmy Neat

Numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren

2 brothers & a sister-in-law: John & Rachel Peckinpaugh, and Rick Peckinpaugh

2 sisters & brothers-in-law: Debbie & Tony Buckler and Carol & Walter Carwile

A host of other relatives & friends

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Christina Miles.

Cremation was chosen by the family and no services are scheduled at this time.
