David Monroe Whitlock, 54, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of Sharon (Jones) Whitlock and the late Bill Whitlock, who preceded him in death on September 12, 2025, was born December 29, 1970 in Campbellsville, and departed this life on Saturday, September 20, 2025 in Lexington at the UK Medical Center.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Suann Whitlock and Pam Thomas.

He professed faith in Christ and attended the International Gospel Lighthouse. David, alongside his brother, operated Bill and Sons Sealcoating. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, knife collecting, racing go-carts, and in his younger days, he held the record for the fastest lap time in the go-cart racing. He also enjoyed playing pool and was the former owner of Rack & Cue.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 2:00pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Ramon Hollins will be officiating

Interment: Mt. Washington Cemetery
