Janet Kay Cox, 74, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Henry and Ruth (Hayes) Cox, was born April 16, 1951 in Jefferson County, KY and departed this life on Monday, September 15, 2025 at her home.
Janet was a former cook at Creekside Restaurant in Campbellsville and was of the Methodist faith. She was an avid fan of University of Louisville basketball and loved spending time with her dogs, and still had memories of JoJo, her dog that is now deceased.
SURVIVORS:
2 daughters: Kerri (& Larry) Rafferty and Trisha Sanders, both of Louisville
4 grandchildren: Douglas (Ginger) Hayden, Chantz Sanders, MaKayla Sanders, and Jacob Rafferty
3 great-grandchildren: Evelyn Sweat, Cyrus Hayden, and Lincoln Sweat
