Georgia Ann Bowen, 84, of Campbellsville, KY, a daughter of the late Leo D. Foley and Edna A. Long Foley, was born May 17, 1941 in Russell County, KY. She departed this life at 11:28 P.M., Monday, September 8, 2025 in Campbellsville.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Georgia was a talented cook and baker, sharing her gift with all who knew her. She won numerous cooking awards throughout the years. She was also a talented seamstress and had made numerous quilts. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, a homemaker and farm wife.
She united in marriage to W.R. Bowen on August 24, 1963 and he preceded her in death on October 23, 2013.
Georgia was dedicated to her family and had been a wonderful mother and grandmother, babysitting her grandchildren when they were young. She was a true friend to all and the world’s greatest aunt. She was an active member of Quilts of Freedom, a local group dedicated to providing handmade quilts to veterans.

1 daughter & son-in-law: Cindy & Tony Rose of Campbellsville
2 grandchildren: Brittany Rose of Lawrenceburg and Wesley Rose of Campbellsville
2 brothers: Arnold Foley and Donnie Foley & wife Debbie of Campbellsville

Many other relatives & friends
Georgia was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Jerry Foley and Sharon Rice.
