Mary Lou Young, 72, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Gilbert Hay and Frances Coogle Hay, was born August 14, 1953 in Hardin County, KY. She died at 11:15 P.M., Saturday, August 30, 2025 in Campbellsville. 

She professed faith in Christ and called Campbellsville Crossroads Community Church her church home. She was a retired employee of the Social Security Administration where she served over thirty years. After retirement, she was self employed at Young and Associates.

Her husband of 52 years: Gary Young of Campbellsville

2 sons: Kyle Young & wife Erica and Kevin Young & wife Shaunna, both of Campbellsville

7 grandchildren: Easton Young, Zane Young, Addalyn Young, Kipton Young, Emmalyn Young, Thatcher Young, and Finley Young

2 brothers & 2 sisters: Bill Hay & wife Debbie of Elizabethtown, KY, Larry Hay & wife Rosemarie of White Mills, KY, Judy McCoy & husband Jim of Hendersonville, TN and Cheryl Davis Pearson of Vine Grove, KY

1 sister-in-law: Freda Hay of White Mills, KY

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Terry Hay.
