Frances Jewell Larimore Perkins, 89, Campbellsville, KY

 
Frances Jewell Larimore Perkins, 89, of Campbellsville, KY, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 28, 2025. She was born on June 27, 1936 to the late Alonzo "Lonzie" Larimore and Bell Page Larimore. 

 

Frances Jewell had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Greensburg Baptist Church. Being a talented musician, she had enjoyed singing and playing the piano at various churches in Green and Taylor County for many years. Frances continued to play for her friends and other residents while she lived at Bluegrass Way in Campbellsville.

 

Having earned a bachelor’s degree from Campbellsville University as well as a master's degree and Rank I from Western Kentucky University, Frances was a retired special education teacher and worked for the Green County School System. After her retirement, she was a member of the Green County Retired Teachers Association. Frances Jewell was also member of the Fraternal Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #232 and the Greensburg Republican Women's group.

 

Frances Jewell loved eating out, trips to the beauty parlor, talking and laughing with friends, and going on shopping trips to the flea market. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

1 son & daughter-in-law: Jim & Valerie Perkins of The Villages, Florida
1 grandson & grand-daughter-in-law: Ed & Sarah Perkins of Orlando, Florida
3 great-grandchildren: Joy, James, and Marigold Perkins
Special lifelong friend: Elvira Gilkeson of Arab, Alabama
Caregiver: Janet Wright of Summersville

Funeral Service: Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 11:00amCT at Greensburg Baptist Church with Bro. Todd Young and Bro. Dale Curry officiating
 
Burial: Greensburg Cemetery
 
Visitation: Beginning at 9:30amCT on Saturday at the church
 
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Greensburg Baptist Church or to the Greensburg Cemetery Fund, and can be made at the funeral home.
 
Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY is in charge of arrangements.
