Danny Gene Woodcox, 82, of Campbellsville, KY (formerly of Jamestown, KY), the son of the late William and Dora (Andrew) Woodcox, was born December 18, 1942 in Jefferson County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at his home.
Danny had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Meadowview Baptist Church. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Merrimac Masonic Lodge where he served as a master and secretary. Danny was a former timberman and sawmill owner. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling on bus tours, and was a master welder.

1 son: Tim Woodcox & wife Janet of Campbellsville

6 grandchildren: Brandon Tucker and Hannah, Cole Tucker and Jordan, Ashleigh Pruyear and Cameron, Allison Lawson and Beth, Andrea Thompson and Daniel, and Drew Woodcox
6 great-grandchildren: Jayson, Jameson, Jackson, Joshua, Grayson, and Kannon
