Gertrude Sprowles, 91, of Campbellsville, KY, a daughter of the late Milburn Hunt and Annnie Arvin Hunt, was born June 30, 1934 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 6:07amET on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 in Greensburg. 

Gertrude professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved gardening and canning. Gertrude also enjoyed cooking, quilting and crocheting.

Gertrude united in marriage to Winfred Sprowles on January 16, 1954 and he preceded her in death on March 4, 2020.

1 daughter & son-in-law: Rhonda & Bill Worley of Louisville

Special nephew: Keith Sprowles & wife Donna of Campbellsville

Many other relatives & friends

Gertrude was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: William Edward Hunt, Dale Hunt, Kenneth Hunt, Betty Morrison and Madeline Warf.
