Wayne Thomas Mikel, 77, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Rube Mikel and Catherine Bryant Mikel, was born on March 15, 1948 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Grandview Nursing and Rehab in Campbellsville.
He professed faith in Christ and had attended the Robinson Creek Baptist Church. He loved his dogs and going camping.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Mikel; and nine siblings: Betty Compton, Annette Smothers, Shirley Wise, Dora Mikel, Rena Murphy, Kenneth “Possum” Mikel, Mary Frances Mikel, Guy Douglas Mikel, and Barbara Jean Mikel.
Graveside Service: Friday, August 15, 2025 at 2:00pmET at the Robinson Creek Baptist Church Cemetery
There will be no visitation.
