Betty Young, 82, of the Little Barren community of Green County, KY, daughter of the late Rupert Brown and Elizabeth Harper Brown, was born on November 26, 1942 in Metcalfe County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at the Green River Trails Nursing Facility in Greensburg.
She had made a profession of Faith and was a member of the Little Barren Separate Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Len Ray Young who preceded her in death on April 15, 2009.

1 son & daughter-in-law: Ricky & Sharla Young of Green County
3 brothers: Bobby Brown, Orvill Brown, and William Henry Brown all of Barren County
Sister-in-law: Ann Thompson of Green County
3 grandchildren: Kayden Young, Josie Young & fiance’ Aylette Cowherd, and Bridger Young all of Green County

Burial: Little Barren Cemetery in Green County
