Lisa Kaye (Gribbins) Cox, 63, of Mannsville, KY, daughter of the late Stanley Shirrell and Rosie Mae (Helm) Gribbins, was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 30, 1962. She departed this life on Friday, August 8, 2025 at her home.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Cox worked at the Fruit of the Loom plant in Campbellsville, then 14 years at Amazon before retiring from Protech. She was a social butterfly who loved to cook for her family and loved listening to Southern Fried Friday Nights on the Big Dawg, cruising Main Street, going to car shows, and in her earlier years, she especially enjoyed the freedom found on the back of a motorcycle. Yet above all that, she will be best remembered for her big heart that was full of love and kindness for her family, both biological and chosen, and she spent many hours discovering her roots and new connections through her passion of genealogy.
