Darlene Marie Kidwell Sexton, 65, of Hart County, KY, daughter of the late Haskell Ellis Kidwell and Annie Mae Kidwell, was born on October 15, 1959 in Glasgow, KY. She departed this life on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at her home.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Darlene was a seamstress and enjoyed crocheting, flea markets, yard sales and cooking.

SURVIVORS:

Her husband of over 41 years: Jerry Sexton, having united in marriage on July 4, 1984

1 son & daughter-in-law: Matthew & DeAnna Sexton of Cave City

2 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren

Her loyal dog companion, Jr., and her grand dog, Rowdy

A host of other relatives & friends

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tabitha Wilson.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Sunday, August 3, 2025 at 3:00pmCT at Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg with Bro. Danny Wayne Sexton officiating

BURIAL: Sexton Family Farm

VISITATION: Saturday from 5:00pm-8:00pmCT and Sunday after 7:00amCT at the funeral home.
